First Nations Hire and Supplies is dedicated to providing high-quality equipment such as excavators and construction materials on a job by job basis. We aim to address the growing demand for construction equipment in the medium to long term hire market.

Through its Aboriginal ownership and management, First Nations Hire and Supplies is committed to promoting the involvement and empowerment of Aboriginal people in the construction industry. This is a significant step towards addressing the underrepresentation of Aboriginal people in the industry and promoting greater diversity and inclusivity in the construction sector.

MEET THE TEAM

Adam Blundell

Adam Blundell has over 26 years experience in business across many different industry sectors. Adam is proud of his Aboriginal heritage, being a Dunghutti man, with a proud family history, with Dave Sand being his grandfather. Dave Sands was a famous Aboriginal boxer.

Mark Piper

Mark Piper has 23 years’ experience in the construction industry starting out with a plant operator traineeship in 2000 and has work his way through all machines to become a site project manager. Mark has worked on residential and industrial subdivision, bridges, sewer water and power infrastructure projects valued from 15 up to 80 million dollars. Mark also has his Certificate 4 in training and assessment.

First Nations Hire and Supplies works with contractors to deliver government projects and meet Indigenous Procurement Policy (IPP) targets, at the same time delivering opportunities for indigenous training within business.
